Hello, and thank you for visiting my site. My goals are to help you protect yourself against unfair decisions by your insurance company, hospital, or HMO. Unfair decisions frequently result in injury, death, or nonpayment of expensive medical bills. Unfortunately, I must remain anonymous - primarily to maintain my access to the inner workings of the HMO and insurance companies - allowing me to continue to work hard for healthcare consumers' rights. Because I am a practicing medical doctor and have consulted for HMOs and insurance companies, exposure of my identity could result in serious unpleasant repercussions, personally, professionally, and financially. Therefore, the "about me" information presented on this site has been edited to disguise my identity. But, as my background shows, I am eminently qualified to speak on this subject.
